I'd always wanted a Kitchen Aid stand mixer...and now I have one! ((which has a meat grinding attachment, if you think Mrs. BamaVol will allow you to buy it ))

The only thing that I would really like to have, although I'm not sure how much use I'd get out of it, is an apple corer/peeler/slicer thing.

Every time I see one, I think how easy it would be to slice up apples for pie with one of those things! Except I've never made apple pie before and I'm not sure a gadget would make a difference in that regard!
