I was questioned more than usual this past May but the guy wasn't rude. He did ask for a printout of my return ticket which I didn't have. Asked a bunch of questions about where I was going, who I was meeting, when was the last time I came through London, when was last time I saw people I was meeting in Scotland, etc.
As much as I like London, I am also avoiding it because of their stupid security rules and high taxes. Not to mention it is a royal pain to transit though.
