Upon accumulating 10,000 qualifying miles in 1 calendar year or 15,000 qualifying miles in 2 calendar years. Valid for 2 years from the month that Silver status is attained or retained

Note that *A Silver status cannot be used for business checkin or for access to the *A business lounges. You will need a *A gold card for that.
