As for CO, one time I left my drivers licence on the plane on a trip to BWI. Morning arrival and evening departure. I discovered it missing while in DC and figured I'd catch hell from TSA trying to board the plane home with no ID so I returned to the airport a couple of hours early and headed to the check-in counter to garner any sort of support CO could give me for my no ID situation. The check-in agent took a good look at me, smiled and said, "yea, we figured you'd be turning up here right about now" and retrieved my drivers licence from under the counter. They had looked up my itenerary from the name on the ID and summized where my next likely apearence would be.

CO's partner, EVA Air has the best lost and found system I have seen. They have everything on-line, complete with pictures, dates and airports at http://eservice.evaair.com/online/ht...asp?Language=E . It's ocasionally interesting to look through the found items and see what people leave on planes. When they first came out with the system in 2005 they had a couple of knifes on there that people had apearently misplaced and they were duitifully trying to return.
