The SuperSize rules are actually quite simple and reasonable. Take away the boiler plate and you're left with 2 rules: (1) you have to fly on NW or KL metal and (2) you have to buy the SuperSize before the trip.

"All flight segments within the paid roundtrip must be operated by Northwest, Northwest Airlink, Compass Airlines or KLM Royal Dutch Airlines to earn the SuperSize mileage credit"

"SuperSize purchase must be made prior to the roundtrip flight."

So there's your problem. You bought the SuperSize mid-trip. You should have bought it before leaving Korea. The other trips you took were not on NW or KL metal so they don't count. I know this must be frustrating but you're only talking about $20, so no biggy. Besides, if you have another flight on NW or KL by the end of the year you can still get those miles.
