Just to explain - I was looking at a used Pbk that is still under warranty. Turns out to be a scam seller so I'll forget it.

Mt Pbk 12" is out of warranty and not starting, probably motherboard and expensive, so I was looking at replacement options.

Will just look at the cost to fix this one for now, before thinking of a replacement.

I'll not bother with US Applecare in future, unless I buy the Mac there and can keep the AppleCare with the machine.
