I've had to wait 48 hours for a bag and almost that long for the information to become available in the system --- that was several years ago. Frustrating but I would keep calling and then panic tomorrow if there's still no information. There might just be a high backlog to work through.

In a few months, if your bag never arrived, you can drive to Alabama and buy it back from the lost luggage store. Ok, bad joke. Good luck though!
