I contacted the Mandarin Oriental corporate office and recieved a very nice reply regarding the property. They plan to begin accepting reservations in mid to late August and open in January 2008. When I inquired about possible ongoing construction or some of the amenities not being completed, they indicated that this was the reason that they are delaying the opening, so that there will be no construction and everything will be up and running. I have posted the preliminary rack rates as shown below. Good luck, looks like a FANTASTIC property soon to be at the top of many lists
