Well I need to rent a car for the week anyways, so I may as well fly into SEA and do it there where it was way cheaper than YVR as are the flights, as well as getting 100% EQM. A few hours driving I don't mind to save at absolute minimum $400.

YVR-YYZ-BOS was (is) available at only 30-40$ more I think (if i were to drop last segment) but renting a car in YVR will be wayyyy too much.

Was even thinking of doing a UA MR on the return, was able to find SEA-SFO-DEN-DFW-ORD-YYZ for $200 all-in one way... just that alone would net me about 7000 miles as a 1P on UA, but convenience of SEA-YVR-YYZ on this trip is more important, even at 33% of the total miles

All of the UA options on my dates require going too far out of the way (one of the few times I'm not looking for that )
