I read this to be NO AE MILES even if it is one AC metal, the flight numbers are Air Jamaica and A/J is neither an AE partner, nor a STAR partner. This is not a situation similar to the domestic carriers referred to, and it is quite clear that when travelling A/J or Jordanian et al these must be AC flight numbers.
Remember, booking A/J flight numbers means you are paying that carrier and that carrier is not a STAR or AE partner, thus doesn't buy AE miles to pass on to your AE account. The fact A/J sells its seats at less than AC also indicates it is unlikely to want to take any of that money and pay AE for miles on your behalf.
