In the early days, SCC didn't have luggage tags, they just sent us a sheet with two stick-on red dots! We were instructed to discretely stick them to the underside of the luggage tags we used (airline elite or those leather types). We wer assurec the doorman/bellmen would spot them and handle us with extra special care. Then we started getting those leather/metal blue tags of which I still have a few. But in the final year of SCC, some of us received a very nice discrete silver plated tag with the SCC logo on one side, and our name/member number on the back. (Went nicely with a similar silver Concorde tag that was for a time given to those of us who flew it.)
With the advent of the Ambassador/RA program, we started getting the types now received, silver-look metal and leather, either Platinum or Gold PC partnered with our status in the Ambassador program. I have 4 or 5 RAs and a similar number of As, though I noticed last year they dropped the number in the renewal kits to one instead of the two we previously received.
I also have a few old plastic card types from the early PC program.
