Also I HIGHLY recommend being adventurous and trying the Sheraton in Flushing Queens. People on other threads say it is a nice hotel, however the neighborhood is incredibly cool. (1) It has the largest chinese and indian neighborhoods in America. Insanely good ethnic food. (2) It is very close to two of the more interesting and lesser known NYC museums: Moma's adjunct and the tv/film museum. (3) Its right on the 7 line which is a direct 5 minute shot into grand central station and midtown.
