I've read this thread to try to find an answer, but I think this is a little more detailed than is covered. Specifically, is a meal in 1st class on a particular flight determined by the typical flight time for that route, the scheduled flight time in advance, or the exact flight time predicted by operations on that day? Because depending on which flight you take BDL-ORD, the flight time is right on the edge and can fall just under or over the cutoff for meal service. (Plus there is both mainline and UX service on this route, but of course there isn't going to be a meal on UX right). And .bomb is no help on this question, because the info is wonky as we know.

Do any of you have experience with this route, and meal or no meal?
