You can actually fly from London to Buffalo, NY?

I can't see why the VWP wouldn't apply. You are a citizen of the UK and you have a ticket out of the country. Shouldn't really matter if that onward ticket is in Canada.

By the way..........you HAVE to do the Jetboat ride out of Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON or Lewiston, NY. I'll be there this weekend and I can't wait!
