I work for a large European bank.
Flights are: less than 5 hours = cheapest Y, more than 5 hours = J. No F, EXCEPT for US domestic when greather than 5 hours (ie: JFK to LAX / SFO).
Plenty of hotel corporate deals so no limit on what you can charge for hotel per night (even if you cannot get one that is on the preferred listing). Anything over the corporate rate is flagged as "out of policy" and little frowned upon if there is an alternative in same city that can offer the corporate rate. The rates are FABULOUS, I got the Four Seasons in San Fran for an eye watering daily rate that a friend in the hotel business was shocked at.
"Reasonable" is the catch phrase regarding meals / cleaning / laundry.
As others have note --> I feel fortunate with our policy having read some of the posts on here.
But to be honest, I am used to a "J class" policy for flights more than 5 hours. I have vowed not to travel Y for personal travel when more than 5 hours (just booked load of WT Plus tickets in the sale thanks to FT), why on earth would I want to work for a company that would force me to do it ?
