Large US hardware, software and services firm, possibly the largest, depending on how you play with the numbers.

Ex-UK (my base), everything is Y up to 8 hours; after that it's C, or C if you have to go straight to a customer meeting after the flight. Since my travel is paid by the client, I can occasionally get C for travelling less hours e.g. to Tel Aviv, where my client is a bank and happy for me to arrive looking less like someone who has travelled via a hedge. Although as one poster has already noted for his company, this results in a note from on high marking you out as a transgressor of policy.

Hotel policy varies by city and we have rates at most of the big chains in each city.

Interesting that most of the people posting to this thread have Y policies, yet have shiny gold cards.
