QR US Customer Service
I need the phone number for QR's customer service in USA. I have a few different phone numbers myself, but all only work busniess hours, and are not equivalent to a 24/7 US based CS phone number. The story is this:
- I am flying coach out of IAD to DOH on Saturday July 21st. I purchased my ticket online, and I was supposed to pick up the paper-ticket at their Washington city office. The confirmation e-mail gave an address in Tysons Corner, VA with an 877 area code number which is actually QR's sales office in NJ.
- After calling the 877 area code phone number, and being given other phone numbers to call, I was told that QR does not have any city office in Washington. I was told that there is now a note on my confirmation that my ticket would be issued when I check in.
- I have started to worry about what would happen if I show up at the airport without any tickets, in case the QR agents in IAD (who would have worked there for only three days) have no clue how to issue a ticket, or worse, claim that I do not have any tickets / or that my reservation were canceled. I do NOT have the option of going to IAD a few days before my flight to try their ticket counter. I need to have a 24/7 customer service phone that I could talk to on my day of departure (Saturday evening)
- I also want to know what is the QR's policy on refunding overcharges. I purchased my ticket at a higher price(+$132) that is currently available on their website. I do not know my original fare rules, but it looks to be the same as the fare rules with the current lower price. I was told that I cannot get a refund of the difference of fares, unless I refund my ticket (with a $200 fee/ticket) and get a new ticket. I am wondering if the tickets are not actually issued, why should they charge me a $200 cancellation fee? The carriage of contract is silent on this issue.
