Incidentally, aren't the new biometric British ones horrid and cheap-looking? The American ones at least manage to conceal the chip and antenna, but ours stand proudly out.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this. The various landscapes on each page are kind-of cool, but I think the quotations are cheesy. I actually preferred the state seal backgrounds.
