Um, not so much.

On two of my last three itineraries (all within the past 30 days), they've managed to lose my companion's bags. On one, my colleague's bag went missing somewhere in CLT. On the other, my husband's bag and golf clubs vanished in PHL (what a shocker.)

They managed to get the bag and clubs from Inverness all the way to PHL, only to be sucked into the abyss there after rechecking to PIT. He got his clubs, but still does not have the bag after over a week.

sigh.

I personally do not check them unless it absolutely cannot be avoided. I'm actually surprised when I see them come off the belt these days. Like, getting my bag at my destination is some sort of cool bonus.
