I wouldn't set the bar too high. Unless the current renovations are truly spectacular, it'll still be the same not-too-large room with no windows. I always take the dayflight back from BOS, when J is often not full, but I'd imagine it gets very crowded when it's serving the overlap of the two evening departures.

What time is her flight? The BA lounge will only be open for the one morning flight, which leaves at 8.20am, and the two evening flights (6ish and 9ish), so may not open much beform 4pm.
