Do you fly on a CRJ anyplace else? It won't be any different. It will be the standard level of cramped. It might be on time or not. You can carryon if it fits in the small overhead bin or under the seat in front of you. I have no clue on bump chances.
Actually, I've only been on a 24 seat RJ once, in and out of RDG, and it wasn't a pleasant experience to extreme turbulence.
