Le Meurice and the Ritz Paris are both great hotels, and I think their location is better than the George V for the purposes of most tourists.

The Ritz, located on the Place Vendome, has a especially good Virtuoso amenities -- complimentary continental breakfast daily (via room service if you want), VIP welcome at the airport (you're escorted through immigration and customs), upgrade at time of booking (if available), and a complimentary private limousine transfer from (or to) the airport or train station. (If you're getting two rooms, you'd most likely get round-trip transfers).

Le Meurice is a gorgeous hotel overlooking the Jardin des Tuileries. Their restaurant has just received its third Michelin star. Virtuoso guests also receive an upgrade at time of booking, daily American breakfast (via room service), 12 noon check-in and 4 p.m. check-out.
