I don't like "forced" gratuities so I never tip above the included gratuity. It's usually 18-20% which is plenty anyway.
I also strongly object to this-what incentive is there to offer good service if they will receive the gratuity anyway. I always check to see if a service charge has been added (also in restaurants) and never add an additional tip (which is a pity as in many cases the tip I would have given would have been greater than the "service charge").
