When I began my transpacific travels, I specifically flew AA because of the "More Room Throughout Coach" factor. When that was dumped Thai Air serendipitously began its nonstop to BKK with Premium Economy with 42" pitch. (Even regular economy has 36" pitch on those flights.) Like ChinaShrek, I've never looked back.
