NW flies their a/c with minimum crew. No one is specifically assigned to clean toilets and no one would do that . It's not like SQ where there is 1 particular attendant whose assignment is solely to clean all the public places (galley, toilets, etc).
Until they up the # of crew members working on board, don't expect it to be resolved anytime soon.
I think any FA on NW can find 5 minutes to "monitor" the restrooms, regardless of staffing level. Now, some may feel that isn't their job because it's nasty, but that's a different story. Your minimum staffing statement is nonsense.
