I agree with most of you here

I definitely agree with most of the sentiments here. TG J is definitely no where compared to CX or SQ J (even CI/MH/BR J if you ask me)...

The ground experience at LA was pathetic, as they were understaffed and opened the counter too late.

The F/As were polite, but pretty indifferent. On my BKK-LAX meals, the F/As just decided to skip serving one of the meals... and on the way back, it is better, (at least they served all three meals)...

If you get a discounted price (which I did), I am find with the second class service, but if you are paying full fare, please fly SQ. SQ is just way ahead of TG in every aspect, except amenity kits (in which TG has discontinued recently due to some bizarre disputes with distributors and the temporary J amenity kit is just as pathetic as SQ socks and eyeshades combo).

In terms of seats, they are okay with me... and in terms of entertainment, they did not update their system on my return flights, but the offerings are okay but no where compared to SQ's KrisWorld, and CX's Studio CX.

Just don't expect much!
