My wife got this 5X offer in the mail today for purchase above $250 (not $450 as others have been offered) on groceries, dinning, gas and hotel.
Mine is 5X for the same four categories, but with no "deductible" like $250 or $450. I read the fine print carefully, and there is no mention of purchases above any threshold. So it does appear that this is a very customized targeted offer.
Why was I not subjected to a threshold amount? Maybe because I have never used the card for groceries or gas? But I do charge a few hundred dollars a month on average on hotel and dining.
