Sorry to hear about the lost camera and pics.

3 Months ago I left onboard 5 childrens T-shirts from Venezuela I had purchased for my friends children. I called CO and was surprised when they told me "If you do not hear from us in the next 15 days then it is lost". I got the feeling at that moment they were gone for good. I never recovered the shirts and never heard back from CO. Maybe there is another process to follow to reclaim left on board/lost items but I am not aware of it.

Maybe I am wrong (as usual) but I would think they would have a better process for instances like this then "if you do not hear from us in XX days then its lost for good".

Someone on here did mention at the time about a "Lost & Found" at IAH, but they never replied where it was, at the time I got the impression it was a warehouse offsite that you could visit to search for items. The poster said they were able to recover an item they lost (it was a sportcoat if I remember correctly).
