I will be flying on WN on New Years Eve from OAK-LAX (Flight 840, 5:45 PM). I know OAK is notorious for long security lines and a hopelessly crowded Terminal 1, but I doubt that the terminal (and flight) would be too crowded on New Years Eve, especially towards the evening hours. Am I right in believing this? If so, how far in advance do I really need to get there? I do need to check bags. Thanks!!
