I've got a trip coming up to Paris/Florence/Rome/Amsterdam and often buy a few bottles of wine. I tend to bring them as carry-ons, typically in a carton similar for a six pack of beer. Last time I travelled to Europe, the no-liquid ban was not around yet. Was wondering how one goes about doing this now.

We brought 2 bottles back after a winery tour outside of Florence. We wrapped them well in dirty clothes, and put one in each checked suitcase, just in case security got too nosy with opening up one.
Shipping any more (separately) doubled the price of the wine, so it was not worth it for us, but be sure to check into it for your selections.
