If the nonstop CX PVG-HKG isn't available, can't you route through NRT on JL?

e.g.
PVG-NRT/FUK/KIX/NGO (JL)
NRT/FUK/KIX/NGO-HKG (JL/CX)

60,000 miles in J

If routing through NRT, try to get the 747 so you can get upper deck sleeper seat.
