I stayed there in January of this year and there were signs everywhere touting its upcoming renovation - and it sure needed it!

I was chatting with an employee while I was there and they said that the property had undergone a couple of changes of ownership in the last few years and was actually "un-flagged" as a Marriott brand property for a while (like the Parc 55 is today).
