Flew C on 1 July ARN - AGP following C on US just a few days prior. This was a strike day and I was concerned about how that would effect service.

Departed on-time (this route has a 30% on-time rating), announced that due to JK being on strike they would provide only the minimal service required by 'law'. I wondered what this might be.

Fortunately I had taken newspapers from lounge as that service along with the hot towels or wet-towels were not offered. But full meal and beverage service. We were not asked if we wanted more to drink on the 5 hour flight. I got pre-meal drink, wine with meal and baileys with my coffee.

Baggage arrived after 20 minute wait (normal for AGP) with priority out almost first and all of my 3 bags together.

Funny thing was that I couldnt help thinking that my C JK experience on a strike day surpassed my US C on a normal PHL-ARN flight. They didnt even have amenity packs to hand out on my US flight, but the worn in chair was good enough to sleep in and not bother with the poor service.
