The only Ren I've stayed at lately is the Renaissance Denver (on Quebec Street). The hotel looks nice from the outside and from inside the soaring atrium, but the room they gave me was a small, run-down affair overlooking the parking lot with peeling wallpaper and a bit of mildew in the shower. Every Quality Inn I've stayed in has been nicer -- and much cheaper. This experience fell far short of my expectations for the brand, and I hope it proves to be totally uncharacteristic if I ever need to stay at a Ren again.
