A query re 60 day temp membership

Hi There,

I am contemplating buying a 60 day World Clubs membership for our upcoming month long trip to the U.S. Just wondering whether it is worth doing (given the airports we are going through), and any handy hints you have.

We arrive on an NZ flight AKL-SFO, connecting to a UA SFO-JFK flight. I understand that there are 2 pre-security clubs we can access in the domestic terminal via the membership? (We have an approx 4 hour layover). Is it worth going to another terminal for the club(s), or should we go straight to the UA part of the terminal and stay there? I realise this depends on delays etc, but a ballpark figure for customs/security waits etc would be appreciated.

Other airlines (apart from SFO) we are flying from (no connecting flights, so flexible re arriving at airport/using different parts of terminal etc):

Las Vegas (no club here as far as I am aware?)
Houston (several to choose from)
Atlanta (again several to choose from)
Miami (one to use)
Los Angeles

I am curious about these airports, and whether it is convenient to use a NW Club m'shipif not necessarily flying NW? Looks like we will have a combo of several different airlines, so would appreciate advice on how easy/difficult it would be to use the participating lounges if not using a particpating airline.

Thanks in advance.
