I was glad to read that folks have found the first installment(s) of my Monino post accurate and helpful.

It is, indeed, the case that taking the mini-bus is quicker and more direct, but it's not near as fun.

For those who haven't seen it yet, I've posted the third part of the "field guide" (it includes a discussion of the Tupolev OKB and Great Patriotic War planes).

I won't have part four (Sukhoi OKB and Lavochkin OKB) posted until early next week as I am in the middle of traveling.
