I have just booked some WT + tickets using the link found on here today -- thanks for the heads up !

However we are planning to head straight to Key West (EYW) when we arrive in MIA using the AA "puddle jumper" as the EYW locals refer to it.

We are scheduled to arrive at 13.45 in MIA and I am leaning towards taking the 16.40 AA Eagle flight which will give us nearly 3 hours to connect.

However I would appreicate any recent experiences / advice

Does anyone
  • have any recent experience of "linking" BA and AA PNRs?
  • I presume that I will be able to get BA to tag our bags and check us straight through to Key West when we check in at LHR ?
  • I know that if you have a reservation on a single PNR that you are permitted the most generous baggage allowance - however this will be two PNRs. Any recent experience which suggests that I would be (sneakily or not) able to avail of the more generous BA baggage allowance if they do check us straight through ?
Anyone have a particularly horrible experience that suggests that I should go for the later MIA to EYW "puddle jumper"

Thanks for advice and info !
