When I was in college, my family relocated to Rapid City, SD - eastern SD is pretty boring, and there really isn't much going on in Sioux Falls...and Sioux City is one of the most depressing places I've been in the country.

It's a shame you won't be able to make it to West River (west of the Missouri River divide) - it's really scenic out there....
