Help ease my conscience...Did I overspend my company's money on a flight?

On the company's dime, I just purchased a QUP fare, booked into F, for $1000 for SJC->LGA. The lowest economy fare, which I'm required to buy, is $600. I am a bad corporate citizen.

However, the flight I actually would have taken if I were purchasing the lowest economy fare is SFO->JFK, which came in around $800 (on P.S.) The flight I ended up booking has me connecting in DEN on the way out, and ORD on the way back (I'll pack an extra nights clothing since ORD is in the mix...)

So REALLY I only wasted $200 of the company's money, and sitting in F I'll be more productive, and certainly they'll get their $200 back in increased productivity.

Right?
