Finally got someone who can answer questions at Air China... apparently there is a problem with their site and their associate sites (no one can book flights) as to the question as to what can be done about it since I spent the better part of the last 7 days being sent on wild goose chases from dept to dept... the answer was "You should have asked to have your fair held so the price woudln't go up on you". And they give me the whole "who did you talk to" spiel which is just infuriating after the runaround I got...

That's great... despite the problem being their site that won't book flights, and asking every agent if anything could be done and being told no, just call back later now it's my fault that I missed the good fare. Also being told there is nothing they can do to adjust the fare no matter what... wonder what they would have done had I taken the persons name down...

Well sorry to rant... just had to let it out somewhere as it's frustrating that it might be ending my travel plans bringing the total cost to over $1000 more than originally planned.

They told me I should just book at this price as it won't ever get cheaper, just more epxensive as the season goes on... is that true or is it likely they will fluctuate?
