I've was at the Park Tower earlier this year and also last year. Was upgraded to a corner suite both times (once without asking and once after escalating through several layers of management) Both stays I was graciously offered early check in. The corner suites were nice with views of the Retiro and the train station. Breakfast was consistently outstanding. The business center just outside the dinning room has free internet access or you can also go to the Sheraton lobby. The car service from the airport was punctual and the drivers were very friendly and helpful.

The concierge were excellent with suggestions and reservations. During my most recent stay I had an experience with a less than honest Taxi. When the doormen hail a taxi they make note of the taxi tag number and hand you a receipt. When I told the head concierge of the problem I had, and produced my receipt, he immediately phoned the taxi company and they dispatched a driver with a full refund-and because I happened to be walking past the conciege desk when the taxi rep. arrived, I also received a sheepish apology.

There was only one annoyance I had with both stays. Most of the floors are non-smoking but the corner suites are all exceptions. During both stays the suites smelled of smoke from the previous occupants.

The main pool and gym are shared by the Sheraton. There is a very small gym for the Park Tower. The Sheraton gym is much better and is well staffed.

The location of the hotel is convenient for business and to a lesser degree for tourists. Taxis are plentiful and cheap-and with rare exceptions, honest. The Subte (Metro) is nearby (General San Martin and Retiro on the C-line)

As for dining options the best areas are the nearby Recolletta and Puerto Madero (sp?) and, a bit farther afield, Palermo Viejo.
