We just changed to a different corp cc system. The cards are in our names, but we don't pay the bills. Our expense system is on-line, and our cc charges are uploaded into the expense system daily. Click and expense, cost code it, submit your expense report, and the company pays all the approved charges in twice a week sweeps. The only time I have a charge to pay is if I have a personal portion of a dinner bill. (When dining out of town with FlyerTalkers) Thus, everything goes on the corp cc. My record low is a $2.00 MARTA ticket.
When I have to drive, I fill my tank on the credit card, mark the expense as "personal" and then direct the company to pay the personal expense out of the "net to employee" for vehicle mileage.
I appreciate my company more and more with each thread like this.
