just my opinion, but if one were to invest in a good pair of noise-reduction headphones, you can sleep thru the on-board announcements (plus, no baby noises, no pa kettle snoring, etc.) also, if you wear them thru the concourses, you don't have to listen to someone ask you to come over and put your 'herbie hancock' and SS number on the dotted line. not to mention, no parents yelling at their kids or the announcement for whoever parked their car in the no parking area...
