Missed my connection to BRU last week as my flight Maxjet flight from JFK was (very) late, both check in agents and lounge attendants very nice and understanding and was able to take a shower as a Oneworld Sapphire though I wasn't quite sure it was allowed.

I must say that the whole BA experience was far superior to any US domestic flight I've been on lately. Read many horror stories here about T4 but it was pretty painless for me.
