This topic really has me scratching my head ... why would anyone be discussing traffic figures from May when September traffic was just reported?

That being said, the whole premise is wrong ... WN did not board more passengers than AA in May 2003 ... and AA is not even the number 1 carrier in terms of passengers boarded anyway, DL has held that distinction for quite a while now (they are the only airline to ever have boarded more than 100 million passengers in a year, they've done that a few times).

In other words, the first post appears to be total BS.
