Save some A boarding cards for Companion Pass holders?

I'm new here and am enjoying this forum immensely. You guys have some great information and insights.

This may have been discussed here before, but I have come up with a question during teh last few months:

Would it be wise for Southwest to just kick out an A boarding card for Companion Pass holders when they check in?

Here are the initial pros and cons that I see:

Pro
1. Companion Pass holders clearly fly quite a bit and deserve a little extra for our loyalty. (Sometimes we fly without our Companion and aren't compensated beyond the regular RR credits.)
2. It would be clandestine. The kiosk or gate agent will know that the passenger has a Companion Pass, and it would just kick out an A. No special announcement would be made at the gate area that would identify the haves vs the have-nots, or embarrass anyone.
3. This might draw people to Southwest from other airlines. I have a friend who loves his Medallion status on Delta. I think he sleeps with the darn thing under his pillow. Anyway he doesn't like Southwest because he has to board with everyone else, and he's used to being treated like royalty.

Cons
1. Companion Pass holders are already well-compensated with at least half a dozen free travel awards per year, not to mention the free Companion travel.
2. Southwest has a history of one-class seating and a "we're all in this together" mentality. Saving A boarding cards for people violates this spirit.

What do folks think?
