To round this one off, the incoming aircraft (EI/BA codeshare to Cork) was 30 minutes late onto stand, at 11pm. Captain said they had been delayed the whole 30 minutes after touchdown due to gross disorganisation on the taxiways. We eventually pushed back and encountered the same, incoming aircraft stopped waiting for a stand, which was occupied by an aircraft awaiting a tug. This at a very quiet time.

Yes there had been problems over at T4, but that doesn't mean everyone elsewhere can just give up and sod the passengers.

Got to Cork airport at half past midnight.
