I see both sides of it here. First I see CLEhillbilly, but at a differant POV. My opinion is it has nothing to do with BF check in, fare, status, etc. Why don't I as an employee just cut it off. First it will save my vocal cords from having to move, second I already have to touch the bag so whats the biggie. The point of my job is to help make sure the baggage gets to its destination and if that means cutting the tag so be it. I also see "FLY CO..." point of who cares its a bag tag remove it yourself..lol.
