You can always get original flight credit, but since crediting to an FFP not linked to the airline originally booked or switched to, it would take some effort.

QF's business class is flat on a slight angle. And LAX-SYD leaves from T4 not TBIT (so you'd have had access to the Admiral's Club). It is all the other QF flights, apart from JFK, (to BNE, MEL and AKL) that leave from TBIT.
