Last time I was in Korea I was trying to purchase my assistant in Korea a smartphone with a full keyboard. I must have gone to every cell phone provider in Seoul and they did not have a smartphone that had a full keyboard. I love my blackberry and was hoping to get a blackberry for my assistant but that was hopeless. Most shops did not even know what it was. We then went to look for windows mobile smartphone. There was only two choices. Both of them were pretty clunky. Is Korea the leader in mobile phones? I could not even find a blackjack - a phone designed by Samsung which is a Korean company.

Any suggestions? I want my assistant to have blackberry service like or smartphone with easy access to email and offcourse a phone that is good for use in South Korea.
